Our nearest town is Battle, only 2 miles away, with its famous battlefield and Abbey. It is a bustling town of independent shops, restaurants and cafes where modern day life mixes effortlessly with arguably the most famous event in British history.
With hotels, pubs and B&Bs to suit any of your guests' budgets, Battle is an ideal base to explore 1066 Country and nearby Hastings, and is also within easy travelling of the historic towns of Rye, Tunbridge Wells and Tenterden.
